Kopiko Candy is not a Thai Product
From childhood to adulthood, many people probably understand that Kopiko candy is a Thai product. If we were to ask our parents’ generation, they would likely understand the same. However, in reality, KOPIKO belongs to Mayora Indah Tbk, an Indonesian company.

Mayora Indah Tbk does not only produce candy for distribution in Thailand. Did you know that many products we have eaten and seen throughout our lives also come from this company? For example, Beng-Beng wafer snacks and Choki Choki chocolate tubes.

Throughout our lives, we may have encountered many products from this company because they have been with us since childhood. From the image we see of it being a coffee-flavored candy, the value of this company is extraordinary. When the company was valued in 2019, it was worth up to 116.5 billion baht.

Mayora’s business performance continues to grow from launching new products into the market. The company’s products are divided into 8 groups.
  • Candy
  • Wafer biscuits
  • Chocolate
  • Coffee
  • Cereal
  • Beverages
  • Ready-to-eat food

From that day until today, from a small biscuit business that tried to build brands and create new products continuously until now, it has become a giant company worth hundreds of billions of baht. The entire story that led to Mayora’s success probably did not happen due to luck once or twice, but arose from the perseverance of the founders and employees over a long period of time. Another important factor that has enabled the company to achieve success to this day is adhering to business philosophy regarding product quality.

“We must create the highest quality products possible for customers, because quality is something that cannot be compromised.”

If we can adapt this philosophy to our business, our products might achieve fame like Kopiko.

Concluding with interesting information: Did you know that even astronauts have taken Kopiko candy to eat on the International Space Station?
